My Parents
Thelma Valeria Nicholson, born May 17, 1920 and William Dow Heater, born April 14, 1918. This picture was taken between 1949 and 1950 in Clio, Roane County, West Virginia. We lived in a company house at Lewis Station (compressor station) for United Fuel Gas Co (later Columbia Gas and later NiSource). My dad was a welder and later a welding inspector.

I'm working on the Heter family which is how I found your blog. I'd like to discuss the ancestry of John - I'm descended from his brother Adam.
